Privacy
This is the privacy policy for deniskodish.com, run by Denis Kodish. It is written to be read rather than to be thorough, and it says what actually happens.
What I collect, and why
Your email address, if you give it to me. You give it in one of two places: the signup form, or the title tool at /titles/, where it unlocks the rest of your results. In both cases it does two things — it creates your account so the tool knows you between visits, and it puts you on my email list.
What that list is: roughly one email a week about getting customers from YouTube. It includes promotion of my own products and services. That is the deal, and it is why the list exists.
How you got on it: you clicked a link in an email to confirm. Nobody is added without that click, and I do not buy, rent or scrape addresses.
What the tool stores when you use it: how many runs you have used this month, so the free allowance works. It is counted against an identifier, not against your name.
Analytics
The site uses PostHog to count visits and see which pages and links people use. It sets identifiers in your browser and records page views, clicks and the video link you arrived from. It is how I know whether a video sends anyone here.
There is no cookie banner on this site. If you would rather not be counted, block analytics in your browser or with an extension, and it will not load. You can also write to me and I will delete anything already recorded.
Who else sees your data
- Ghost — the software this site runs on, which stores your email and sends the emails.
- Mailgun — delivers the emails.
- PostHog — analytics, only if you accepted.
- OpenRouter — the title tool sends the sentence you typed to a language model through OpenRouter to generate titles. It does not send your email address or anything that identifies you.
I do not sell your data, and I do not share it with anyone else.
How long I keep it
Your email stays until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it. Usage counts are kept per calendar month and are not needed after that.
What you can ask for
Any of it, by replying to any email I send you or from the contact page:
- a copy of what I hold about you
- a correction
- deletion — this removes you from the list entirely
- to stop receiving email, which is also the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every one
I will do it, and I do not need a reason.
Contact
Denis Kodish — reply to any email from this site, or use the contact page. A postal address is available on request, and appears in the footer of every email I send.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the change will be described here with the date.
